Lean on me

Even trees get weary from time to time but fortunately there’s usually someone close to lean on!

The photograph above was taken on my second visit to Sinnow Wood, a small wood between the villages of Tickhill and Bawtry, near Doncaster, South Yorkshire. The first time I was there (6 years ago!), the wood anemones were in full bloom as shown in this thumbnail image of a photograph I took then.
