Cap Roig, Catalonia

This promontory of rock is on the hiking trail called The Costa Brava Way. This 200km trail crosses the beach at Cap Roig which is convenient for access if you’re already on the trail. If not, there are 156 steps down to the beach which is ok. The 156 steps back up? That’s a different story!

Cap Roig gets its name from the colour of the rock so it’s a common name for promontories along the Catalonia coast.
